A very nice complete Miyata Century

Except for the 1992 Rock Shox, XTR pads it looks mostly original.

Fantastic Trimble stem/bar combo. Too bad there are no closeups!

1990 Miyata Century Mountain

Introducing my NOS Miyata Century frame. Part of the factory wrapping is still on the frame, which is in excellent condition.

The frame is size 20.5", making it large, but remember that frames of this era had short top tubes. So it should fit me well, even though I used 17-18" frames with modern geometry.

The headtube takes a fork with a 1" diameter steerer.

Yes, these are 14 karat gold plated lugs. The front triangle consists of carbon wrapped aluminum tubes. I don't really think I dare publish the actual weight, but to give you a clue I wouldn't take the risk of claiming that this is a superlight frame ;)

The Century was Miyatas limited edition 100-year anniversary model. I haven't found reliable information about the production number, but seems many of these frames still exist, some are NOS, others in good, used condition.
